SpaceWorks has long maintained a core-competency in the field of engineering tool development, and has been funded for several multi-year efforts by the U.S. Department of Defense to create software tools for trajectory planning, aeroheating analysis, problem optimization, and much more. These custom development efforts help clients to rapidly address key engineering analysis deficiencies and improve their complex systems.

REDTOP

REDTOP  Rocket Engine Design Tool for Optimal Performance (REDTOP) is our suite of propulsion analysis tools for liquid rocket engines. We are currently in development for a new release which will incorporate new features to improve the usability, capability, and visualization.

CoRAL

In addition to engineering tools, SpaceWorks also works with clients to create programmatic evaluation tools for functional team members that can improve project tracking, estimation, and reporting. Tools such as SMART, CoRAL, and TCASE (all developed for NASA), have become staples of the project management and cost estimation community across the aerospace sector and continue to provide valuable insights for improving project performance long after their initial adoption.

CASCoM

Underscoring SpaceWorks role as an innovator in the aerospace program management sphere, CASCoM was one of the first ever developed Joint-Confidence-Level (JCL) modeling tools. Initially developed to assess joint cost and schedule confidence early in a project’s life cycle, JCL was later adopted as a requirement by the OMB, and CASCoM remains one of the leading options for lightweight JCL analysis.
